Jordan Wise is a 5th-grade Math Teacher and Department Chair at KIPP STRIVE Academy in West Atlanta. As an educator, Jordan takes pride in intentionally building strong relationships with scholars, consistently and effectively utilizing data to inform purposeful decisions, and balancing love and high expectations in both teaching and leadership.

Jordan’s “why” is rooted in the empowerment of Black people by revitalizing students’ hopes, knowledge, aspirations, and sense of destiny. Dedicated to inspiring students to recognize their individual and communal importance, Jordan aims to help them uncover their own “why” and their significance in the world.

Committed to innovation, Jordan strives to bring fresh and eclectic ideas to teaching and learning that resonate with the current and future generations, working to reinvent the traditional education model to better align with the needs of a rapidly changing world.
