Jessica Smith (she/her) is a case manager and special education teacher for 7th-grade students, certified K-12 with expertise as a reading specialist and instructional coach. With over a decade of experience in special education and coaching, she excels at building meaningful relationships with students, leveraging data to inform instruction, and creating supportive environments that promote growth and learning for all.

Jessica finds joy in witnessing the “light bulb moments” when students grasp challenging concepts and watching their confidence soar. Beyond the classroom, she is passionate about supporting women through faith-based initiatives that focus on community and healing.

Her “why” as a teacher is rooted in her belief in the transformative power of education and her passion for helping students recognize and harness their potential. She is driven by a commitment to equity, ensuring every child has access to a quality education, and by the principle of resilience, encouraging students to view challenges as opportunities for growth.

In her classroom, Jessica strives to create an inclusive, engaging space where students feel valued, inspired, and empowered to achieve their goals.
