Alexis Albertie (she/her) is a Math Educator and the Director of Academic and Faculty Development at The New School. A graduate of Georgia State University with a Master’s in Creative and Innovative Education, she brings over nine years of experience in designing engaging learning experiences that promote creativity, equity, and innovation.

Fostering connections is at the heart of Alexis’s work, both in life and in the classroom. Whether through collaborative problem-solving, building inclusive communities, or inspiring curiosity and growth in her students, she is driven by a commitment to equity and a belief in education’s transformative power. Her approach centers on creating opportunities for all learners to succeed by designing environments where diverse perspectives are valued and every individual feels empowered to reach their potential and exercise their autonomy.
